Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Assessment of Brain Metabolite Concentrations in Individuals With Chronic Whiplash-associated Disorder A Cross-sectional Study

Scott F. Farrell et al.

Summary: The study did not find significant differences in brain metabolite profiles between individuals with chronic WAD and pain-free controls, and no correlations were observed between metabolite ratios and clinical variables. Further research is needed to better understand the neural mechanisms contributing to ongoing pain and disability in chronic WAD.
