The dynamic characteristics of pure-quartic solitons and soliton molecules

Xiaoyan Liu et al.

Summary: In this paper, the dynamical characteristics of pure-quartic solitons (PQSs) generated in mode-locked fiber lasers are studied, and the bilinear forms and solutions of the fourth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation (FNLSE) in optical fiber systems are obtained using Hirota's bilinear method. An interesting phenomenon of PQS molecular interaction is found, and soliton-asymmetric soliton molecules are obtained by parameters control.

Symmetric and Anti-Symmetric Solitons of the Fractional Second- and Third-Order Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation

Qi-Hao Cao et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the fractional second- and third-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation, deriving symmetric and antisymmetric soliton solutions and analyzing the influence of the Levy index on different solitons. Stability and stability intervals of solitons are discussed, with emphasis on the robustness of stable solitons against small disturbance.

Soliton interaction control through dispersion and nonlinear effects for the fifth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation

Guoli Ma et al.

Summary: The rapid development of optical fiber communication is driven by the demands of the information age. Research on the variable coefficients fifth-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation reveals that adjusting the values of dispersion and nonlinear effects can affect soliton stability, which is significant for the advancement of optical communication technologies.

Data-driven femtosecond optical soliton excitations and parameters discovery of the high-order NLSE using the PINN

Yin Fang et al.

Summary: The researchers utilized a physics-informed neural network to address various femtosecond optical soliton solutions of the high-order nonlinear Schrodinger equation, achieving smaller prediction errors for specific solutions. As the prediction distance increases, the prediction error gradually rises. By optimizing the neural network in terms of layers, neurons, and sampling points, the researchers significantly reduced errors compared to prior research, indicating potential for new methodologies in this field.

Localized waves and mixed interaction solutions with dynamical analysis to the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in the Bose-Einstein condensate

Haotian Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, a breather, rogue wave, and mixed interaction structures are identified in the Gross-Pitaevskii equation in Bose-Einstein condensate using the generalized Darboux transformation method, with discussions on the effects of related parameters on rogue wave structures. Numerical simulations confirm the dynamics and stability of these structures, showing that they can evolve with small amplitude perturbations under certain conditions, while breathers cannot. These findings suggest potential feasibility for experimental observation of these structures.
