Quantum information transfer between optical and microwave output modes via cavity magnonics

Summary: This study investigates the transfer of quantum information between the output propagating microwave mode and the radiation from a hybrid quantum source through cavity magnonics. Using the input-output theory, we find significant amounts of quantum entanglement, coherent information-distillable entanglement bits transfer, and Gaussian quantum discord between the output optical and microwave modes in the proposed quantum source.

Comparative Study of Quantum Features of Radiation Generated by Nondegenerate Down-Conversion

Summary: A comparative study of quantum properties associated with coherent correlations between light modes generated by a nondegenerate parametric down-conversion process is presented. The study compares the degree of nonclassicality quantified by logarithmic negativity, quantum discord, quadrature variance, the smallest eigenvalue of the symplectic matrix, and EPR steering, revealing similarities. The highest degree of quantum features is generally found near threshold, with the smallest eigenvalue of the symplectic matrix capturing a better degree of quantumness.
