A translational exploration of the effects of WNT2 variants on altered cortical structures in autism spectrum disorder

Yi-Ling Chien et al.

Summary: The study found that individuals with autism spectrum disorder have reduced cortical thickness, possibly related to WNT2 gene variants. Two SNPs of WNT2 showed age interactions affecting specific brain regions in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
