Comprehensive evaluation of68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT parameters for discriminating pathological characteristics in primary clear-cell renal cell carcinoma

Jie Gao et al.

Summary: The study found that Ga-68-PSMA-11 PET/CT imaging can effectively identify aggressive pathological features in ccRCC, with tumor diameter and SUVmax being able to significantly differentiate WHO/ISUP grade, pT stage, and adverse pathology characteristics.

E-PSMA: the EANM standardized reporting guidelines v1.0 for PSMA-PET

Francesco Ceci et al.

Summary: The development of consensus guidelines for interpretation of PSMA-PET aims to provide consistent clinical reports, increase data reproducibility in clinical trials, and assist clinicians in making treatment decisions. An expert panel actively participated in a modified Delphi consensus process to implement structured reporting for PSMA-PET. The E-PSMA standardized reporting guidelines supported by the European Association of Nuclear Medicine offer consensus statements among experts in PSMA-PET imaging to harmonize diagnostic interpretation criteria.

Summary: PET/CT with PSMA-targeted tracers has been used for diagnosing and staging ccRCC, with PSMA expression detected in metastatic ccRCC patients. However, PSMA-targeted PET/CT cannot reliably predict histologic features of metastases.

68Ga-PSMA PET/CT versus CT and bone scan for investigation of PSA failure post radical prostatectomy

Yuigi Yuminaga et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the use of Gallium-68 prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography (68Ga-PSMA PET/CT) compared to conventional CT abdomen/pelvis (CTAP) and whole body single photon emission CT bone scan (BS) for detecting local or distant metastasis in post-prostatectomy patients with biochemical failure/recurrence. The results showed that PSMA PET/CT had a higher detection rate for predicted local or distant metastasis compared to CTAP and BS.
