Photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B using Bi4O5Br2-doped ZSM-5

Muxi Zhang et al.

Summary: In this study, a ZSM-5/Bi4O5Br2 composite catalyst was prepared by in situ precipitation method and its morphological, optical, structural, and photoelectrochemical properties were studied. The results showed that the composite catalyst with 1 wt% of ZSM-5 exhibited the best photocatalytic performance, achieving 99.86% removal efficiency of RhB within 25 min, with a reaction rate constant 2.32 times that of pure Bi4O5Br2. The increased photocatalytic activity of the composite is mainly attributed to the interaction between ZSM-5 and Bi4O5Br2, which enhances electron transfer at the interface.

Postnatal exposure to DINP was associated with greater alterations of lipidomic markers for hepatic steatosis than DEHP in postweaning mice

Yan Yang et al.

Summary: The study found that di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) had gender-specific effects on the hepatic lipidome of neonatal mice, with greater impact on female pups. Although DEHP induced fewer changes overall, DINP caused significant disruption in glycerol and cholesterol lipid molecules in neonatal mice, suggesting the onset of hepatic steatosis as early as post weaning.
