Development of a portable MIP-based electrochemical sensor for detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen

Patulin induces pyroptosis through the autophagic-inflammasomal pathway in liver

Summary: The study characterized the role of the autophagic-inflammasomal pathway in pyroptosis induced by Patulin (PAT). It was found that PAT induced pyroptosis through activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome and release of cathepsin B, providing new mechanistic insights into PAT-induced hepatotoxicity. These findings suggest that PAT-induced pyroptosis may be mediated through the autophagy-cathepsin B-inflammasomal pathway in the liver.
