A systematic review of cases of CNS demyelination following COVID-19 vaccination

Summary: This study conducted a systematic review on CNS demyelination cases following COVID-19 vaccination and identified a total of 32 cases. Most cases occurred after the first dose of the vaccine, with half of them having a history of immune-mediated diseases. Treatment included high dose methylprednisolone, PLEX, IVIg, or a combination of those, with favorable outcomes observed in the majority of cases, suggesting the need for long-term post-marketing surveillance.
