Summary: This study investigated the seismic response of a micropile-reinforced cut slope behind a CRW through centrifuge shaking-table model tests, revealing the proportion of slope sliding force borne by CRW and micropiles under multistage earthquakes. Additionally, the dynamic earth pressure coefficient varies significantly under different conditions, and residual bending moment accumulates significantly on the CRW and micropiles after an earthquake.

The effect of long-term consolidation on foundations underpinned by micropiles in soft clay

Summary: Insufficient research has been done on the long-term behavior of micropiles embedded in clay, and this paper presents experimental and numerical simulation results on the topic. The study finds that immediate installation of micropiles after the completion of existing floors is successful in controlling the settlement of additional floors.

Field axial cyclic loading tests of screw micropiles in cohesionless soil

Summary: This study conducted six axial cyclic tests to investigate the behavior of screw micropiles, including parameters such as cyclic axial load under seismic loading, unit shaft distribution, pile-head displacement, and stiffness. The influence of initial factor of safety on cyclic behavior was also examined, with results showing the redistribution of unit shaft resistance and determination of equivalent damping ratio and stiffness.
