The microstructure and mechanical properties of AlSi10Mg alloy fabricated by selective laser melting were investigated in this study. Substantial hardening was achieved by aging heat treatment. The alloy shows excellent combination of strength and ductility, attributed to its fine cellular structure and nanoscale needle-like precipitates.
The microstructure and mechanical properties of AlSi10Mg alloy fabricated by selective laser melting were systematically investigated in this study.
