Steric and electronic effects on the 1H hyperpolarisation of substituted pyridazines by signal amplification by reversible exchange

Peter J. Rayner et al.

Summary: The utility of the pyridazine motif in pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications is increasing, with signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE) offering a route to improve magnetic resonance sensitivity. The study found that sensitivity is significantly improved when steric bulk is added to the 3- and 6-positions of the pyridazine ring.
