Sampled-data general partial synchronization of Boolean control networks

Lin Lin et al.

Summary: In this study, a general partial synchronization method for a specific type of Boolean control networks is proposed for the first time, and it is achieved through sampled-data feedback control. Unlike previous synchronization methods, this approach requires the total number of synchronized nodes to exactly maintain a fixed value within a finite number of steps, and it eliminates the need for predetermined synchronized nodes.

Second-order bipartite consensus for networked robotic systems with quantized-data interactions and time-varying transmission delays

Teng-Fei Ding et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the second-order bipartite consensus problems for networked robotic systems subject to uncertainties and disturbances over signed directed graphs. Two classes of hierarchical control algorithms are proposed to address the consensus problems, considering quantized-data interactions and time-varying transmission delays. By utilizing Hurwitz criterion and Lyapunov stability argument, sufficient conditions on control parameters are obtained, and the consensus performance of the regulated system is analyzed with validation from three examples.

Finite-Time and Fixed-Time Bipartite Consensus Tracking of Multi-Agent Systems With Weighted Antagonistic Interactions

Min Zhao et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the issue of bipartite consensus tracking for multi-agent systems with both cooperative and antagonistic interactions. Finite-time and fixed-time protocols are developed to improve convergence speed, and an M-matrix based method is proposed to estimate parameters and determine upper bounds for settling times. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Global Mittag-Leffler consensus for fractional singularly perturbed multi-agent systems with discontinuous inherent dynamics via event-triggered control strategy

Yuqing Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper considers the global Mittag-Leffler consensus tracking issue for fractional singularly perturbed multi-agent systems based on event-triggered control strategy. A differential inequality with respect to fractional-order derivative of convex function is developed and a distributed event-triggered control scheme is designed to achieve global Mittag-Leffler consensus. The global consensus conditions are addressed in terms of matrix inequalities, and the validity of the proposed design method is illustrated through numerical simulations.

Scaled consensus problem for multi-agent systems with semi-Markov switching topologies: A view from the probability

Xing Guo et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the stochastic scaled consensus problem for multi-agent systems with semiMarkov switching topologies. Sufficient conditions are established to guarantee the scaled consensus with probability one, and a pinning control technique is employed to design a pinning scaled consensus protocol. The validity of the obtained main results is illustrated through numerical simulations.

Bipartite Tracking Consensus of Generic Linear Agents With Discrete-Time Dynamics Over Cooperation-Competition Networks

Jinliang Shao et al.

Summary: This article discusses the bipartite tracking consensus for a set of mobile autonomous agents over directed cooperation-competition networks, utilizing matrix product technique and key results related to binary relations to analyze convergence in fixed and switching network topologies. The upper bound for the spectral radius of the system matrix is provided to ensure convergence even with a strictly unstable uncoupled system, with applicability verified through simulation experiments.

Observer-based adaptive event-triggered tracking control for nonlinear MIMO systems based on neural networks technique

Sanxia Wang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates adaptive neural networks event-triggered control for nonstrict-feedback nonlinear MIMO systems, approximating unmeasured states using neural network observer and estimating unknown continuous functions at each recursion step. An observer-based adaptive neural networks event-triggered tracking control strategy based on backstepping technique is proposed to ensure system outputs track target trajectory within bounded error range.
