Summary: Spinel ferrites, such as manganese doped NiFe2O4 nano ferrite, are widely studied for their structural and magnetic properties. With manganese substitution, the lattice parameter value and unit cell volume increase, while the saturation magnetization and magnetic moment decrease compared to the non-doped ferrite. Cation distribution analysis shows Ni2+ ions occupying B-sites, Mn2+ ions reside in tetrahedral A-spot, and Mn2+ ions replacing Ni2+ in the tetrahedral site. Additionally, electron spin resonance spectra display a broad signal indicating the presence of Fe3+, Ni2+, and Mn2+ ions with a 'g' value close to 2.00.
