Perovskite Quantum Dots Glasses Based Backlit Displays

Jidong Lin et al.

Summary: This research introduces a method using perovskite quantum dots to produce nanocomposites in glass with superior optical performance and stability, which can be used to improve the color gamut and rendition of LCD. By physically diluting to eliminate the inner filter effect and effectively isolating them from the external environment, the quantum yield and stability of the quantum dots have been significantly enhanced. The backlit LCD designed using this technology showed a color gamut reaching 152% of commercial LCD and 103% of NTSC, showcasing great potential in the optoelectronic industry.

Green Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes with 200 Hours Stability and 16% Efficiency: Cross-Linking Strategy and Mechanism

Boning Han et al.

Summary: A methylene-bis-acrylamide cross-linking strategy is proposed to enhance the stability of perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) by increasing the binding energy and activation energy, thereby preventing ions from migrating inside and across crystals. This strategy not only improves the external quantum efficiency, but also extends the half-life of the devices, making them more stable during continuous operation.

Controlling the Crystallization Kinetics of Lead-Free Tin Halide Perovskites for High Performance Green Photovoltaics

Junfang Wang et al.

Summary: Tin halide perovskites are promising candidates for lead-free perovskite solar cells due to their low toxicity, ideal energy bandgap, high charge carrier mobility, and long hot carrier lifetime. However, the certified efficiency of tin halide PSCs has not yet reached the theoretical expectation, largely due to the poor quality of the perovskite films. This review focuses on the crystallization kinetics of tin halide perovskites, discussing methods for improving film quality and presenting current challenges and prospects.
