Stationary optical solitons with Kudryashov's laws of refractive index

Mehmet Ekici et al.

Summary: This work revisits stationary solitons modeled by six newly proposed laws of nonlinear refractive index by Nikolay Kudryashov, with consideration of the nonlinear version of chromatic dispersion. The extended trial function approach enabled this retrieval, with results displayed alongside respective parameter constraints.

Solitary waves of the non-local Schrodinger equation with arbitrary refractive index

Nikolay A. Kudryashov

Summary: A new generalization of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is presented, taking into account arbitrary reflective index in optical fiber and non-local nonlinearity. Exact solutions in the form of solitary waves, which can be considered as optical solitons, are derived. Special cases of the equation and its solutions are also considered.

Stationary optical solitons with nonlinear chromatic dispersion and generalized temporal evolution by extended trial function approach

Nuray Sucu et al.

Summary: This paper explores the recovery of stationary optical soliton solutions under nonlinear chromatic dispersion, in addition to self-phase modulation. Using an extended trial function algorithm, the paper successfully recovers stationary soliton solutions for eleven forms of nonlinear refractive index structures of optical fibers. Technical criteria for the existence of such stationary solitons are also presented.

Optical solitons of the resonant nonlinear Schrodinger equation with arbitrary index

Nikolay A. Kudryashov

Summary: The reduction of traveling waves of the resonant nonlinear Schrödinger equation with arbitrary refractive index is discussed in this study. The system of equations for the real and imaginary parts is presented and the first integrals for this system are found. The equations are transformed into a single governing nonlinear ordinary differential equation, and exact solutions in the form of periodic and solitary waves are provided for different values of the refractive index.

Revised results of Khalida Bibi on the Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation

Nikolay A. Kudryashov

Summary: This paper critiques and refutes a recent paper by Khalida Bibi, demonstrating that the method used is flawed and should not be applied to this type of equation. The paper also presents the correct solution to the Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation.

The Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation with arbitrary refractive index and its exact solutions

Nikolay A. Kudryashov

Summary: In this study, the Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmanan equation is examined with arbitrary refractive index, and exact solutions are sought using the traveling wave reduction technique. An overdetermined system of equations is introduced for the packet wave envelope, and two compatibility conditions are used to construct solutions of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Exact solutions in the form of periodic and solitary waves of the generalized Radhakrishnan-Kundu-Lakshmannan equation are provided.
