Ecofriendly synthesis, crystal chemistry, electrical, and low-temperature magnetic properties of nano-particles (Li-Cr) for drug delivery and MRI applications

Summary: In this study, a series of mixed Li-Fe-Cr oxide nano-ferrite systems were successfully synthesized using the citrate gel auto-combustion method. Structural parameters and surface morphology were characterized, showing that Cr3+ substitution significantly influenced the magnetic properties. The magnetic behavior of two samples exhibited super-paramagnetic behavior at high temperatures.

Ag+ ion substituted CuFe2O4 nanoparticles: Analysis of structural and magnetic behavior

Summary: The influence of Ag+ substitution on copper nanoferrites was investigated in this study. It was found that the synthesized nanoferrites had a single spinel phase, with variations in crystallite size between 18-27 nm. The presence of nanoparticles, nano-spheres, and functional groups of spinel ferrites were observed through various characterization techniques. Additionally, the saturation magnetization was found to decrease with increasing Ag+ composition.

Summary: The CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized using an eco-friendly, simple, and inexpensive method, with the effect of different amounts of plant extract as a complexing agent on the final product's structure, morphology, and magnetic properties discussed. The synthesized NPs were characterized to investigate their size, shape, crystallinity, and magnetic properties, revealing a crystalline cubic phase with an average crystallite size of 15-30 nm. Analysis of the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) showed that the saturation magnetization and coercivity of the final product decrease with increasing amount of plant extract.
