Multi-UAV Cooperative Localization for Marine Targets Based on Weighted Subspace Fitting in SAGIN Environment

Summary: This article proposes a system architecture that integrates unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with monostatic multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) radars for localizing maritime targets. By utilizing a special structure mutual coupling matrix (MCM) and a sparse reconstruction algorithm, accurate direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of the targets is achieved. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed DOA estimator, and the multi-UAV cooperative localization system enables accurate target localization.
