Antimicrobial activity of sliver nanoparticles synthesized by the leaf extract of Cinnamomum camphora

Summary: This study presents a method of synthesizing silver nanoparticles using leaf extract of Ginnamomum camphora and evaluates their antimicrobial effectiveness. The biosynthetic AgNPs showed uniformly dispersed spherical or ellipsoidal shapes with good stability and achieved good antimicrobial activity against various pathogens. The green synthesis method has the potential to serve as a substitute to traditional methods while reducing pollution.
