Therapeutic options for erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp: a systematic review

M. H. Junejo et al.

Summary: There is a lack of consensus on the optimal treatment for EPDS due to varying therapeutic approaches reported in the literature. Topical corticosteroids with or without oral zinc, followed by maintenance therapy with topical calcineurin inhibitors, are supported as effective treatments for EPDS. Prospective, comparative, randomized controlled trials are needed to provide further evidence for guiding treatment.
