Inflation in mimetic f (R, T) gravity

Summary: In this paper, three viable inflationary cosmological solutions are proposed by employing mimetic f(R, T) gravity coupled with Lagrange multiplier and mimetic potential, which are consistent with the latest observational data. The analysis is conducted with the simplest minimal f(R, T) function, and viable cosmologies are obtained by appropriately adjusting the Lagrange multiplier and the mimetic potential, demonstrating the validity of the model.

Relaxing inflation models with nonminimal coupling: A general study

Summary: In this study, we investigate the predictions of inflation models with a nonminimal coupling to gravity for inflationary observables such as the spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio in a general setting. Depending on the relation between the Jordan frame potential and a function characterizing the nonminimal coupling, the models can be classified into three categories, each giving distinctive predictions for the inflationary observables. We derive general predictions for each class and investigate some specific models to understand the underlying features.

Modified gravity models for inflation: In conformity with observations

Summary: This paper proposes a modified gravity framework for inflation by adding a direct f (phi)T term, investigates inflation dynamics, applies it to three inflationary models, and finds that predictions are sensitive to this new term. This f (phi)T gravity brings chaotic and natural inflation into better agreement with data and allows a larger tensor-to-scalar ratio in the Starobinsky model.

Dynamics of inflation with mutually orthogonal vector fields in a closed universe

Inflationary model in minimally modified gravity theories
