Fengtao Yu et al.

Summary: A series of D-A(1)-A(2) terpolymers were developed through adjusting the monomer feed molar ratio, which can effectively inhibit charge recombination and facilitate charge separation for the photoreduction of uranium. Among them, PTrSO-2 with a FMR of 0.75:1.0:0.75 achieved a remarkable 99.5% photocatalytic U(VI) reduction efficiency within 120 min of visible-light irradiation, surpassing most reported photocatalysts for similar applications. This work provides a new strategy and unconventional thinking for the development of CMPs photocatalysts in the treatment of radioactive wastewater.

Yan Chen et al.

Summary: Three triphenylamine (TPA) substituted dichromophoric zinc porphyrins and a single zinc porphyrin were designed to construct dye-sensitized TiO2 nanoparticles for exploring the feasibility of dichromophoric dye design for photocatalysis. Among the investigated composites, XZP2/TiO2 showed the smallest charge transfer resistance and the longest electron lifetime, demonstrating the highest efficiency in photodegradation of polluted water samples. Electron paramagnetic resonance and radical quenching experiments revealed that superoxide radicals and holes are the priority reactive species at the porphyrin-sensitized TiO2 interface.

Yang Han et al.

Summary: A novel flower-like Co-TCPP MOF/rGO composite with superior performance as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries was successfully synthesized in this study. The introduction of rGO effectively reduces MOF stacking, enhances electron transport rate, exposes more active sites, decreases Li+ diffusion distance, and improves overall electrical conductivity of the electrode. The superior performance of the composite electrode is attributed to the prevention of Co-TCPP MOF crystal stacking growth and improvement of electrical conductivity by rGO.
