Chemiresistive-based carbon dioxide sensor with enhanced sensitivity

S. Keerthana et al.

Summary: A highly sensitive carbon dioxide sensor was developed in this work, capable of operating at low temperatures with rapid detection capabilities. The sensor, fabricated by depositing a graphene oxide/cupric oxide nanocomposite onto a glass substrate, showed remarkable sensing response and fast response times. The enhanced sensitivity and repeatability of the sensor were attributed to the p-n heterojunction interface resulting from the nanostructured CuO decoration over high surface area graphene oxide.

Phase transformations in FeCo - Fe2CoO4/Co3O4-spinel nanostructures as a result of thermal annealing and their practical application

M. V. Zdorovets et al.

Summary: This research found that the formation of oxide spinel structures of type Fe2CoO4/Co3O4 through thermal annealing can increase the number of cycles for nanotubes by 1.5-1.7 times. The effectiveness of increasing the lifetime of anode materials is attributed to the enhanced resistance to degradation of Fe2CoO4/Co3O4 structures, leading to the acceleration of lithation processes.

Ni substitution effect on the structure, magnetization, resistivity and permeability of zinc ferrites

D. A. Vinnik et al.

Summary: Zn1-xNixFe2O4 ferrites were synthesized using solid state reactions and the sol-gel autocombustion technique, with the obtained samples exhibiting a spinel structure. The magnetic characteristics, Curie point variation, and electrical properties were determined for different compositions, showing a decrease in unit cell parameters with increasing nickel concentration. The composite samples with paraffin wax showed significant reductions in permeability.
