Absorbable versus non-absorbable sutures for vaginal mesh attachment during sacrocolpopexy: a randomized controlled trial

Christl Reisenauer et al.

Summary: This study analyzed anatomical and functional outcomes after SCP for vaginal vault prolapse POPQ II-III using random absorbable and non-absorbable sutures for vaginal mesh fixation. No significant differences were found in anatomical or functional outcomes between the two groups, although three suture penetrations into the vagina were observed in the ETH group.
