Fixed-Time Prescribed Tracking Control for Stochastic Nonlinear Systems With Unknown Measurement Sensitivity

Changchun Hua et al.

Summary: This article addresses the fixed-time prescribed tracking control problem for uncertain stochastic nonlinear systems with input quantization and unknown measurement sensitivity. A new feedback control algorithm is proposed to handle the unknown measurement sensitivity on the sensor, utilizing unreal measured values of the system state. Additionally, a novel performance function is developed to investigate the fixed-time prescribed performance on the output tracking error. An adaptive quantized controller is designed using the backstepping method, and it is proven based on the Lyapunov stability theory that the controller can satisfy the fixed-time prescribed performance while keeping all signals bounded in probability. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.

Adaptive Torsional Vibration Control of the Nonlinear Rolling Mill Main Drive System with Performance Constraints and Sensor Errors

Cheng Qian et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the torsional vibration suppression control problem for the nonlinear rolling mill main drive system, proposing a motor torque control law based on backstepping algorithm and an adaptive bound estimation approach. The dynamic surface technology simplifies the control design process and solves the computational explosion issue, while also proving the stability of the resulting closed-loop system in the sense of uniformly ultimate boundedness.

Adaptive actuator failure compensation for a class of nonlinear systems with full state constraints

Hupo Ouyang et al.

Summary: An adaptive compensation scheme is proposed in this article for controlling a class of Brunovsky form systems with unknown parameters and possible actuator failures to achieve full state constraints. By selecting a set of parameters related to barrier Lyapunov functions, virtual control signals can be constrained within required boundaries, enabling simultaneous achievement of full state constraints and tracking performance constraints even in the presence of actuator failures. It is demonstrated that with this scheme, all closed-loop signals are bounded and tracking error converges to a residue set that can be made arbitrarily small.

Vibration analysis and numerical simulation of rolling interface during cold rolling with unsteady lubrication

Lei Cao et al.

Summary: This work discusses the importance of the friction characteristics of rolling interface in rolling stability, introduces a new unsteady lubrication model, develops a dynamic chatter model, analyzes the main process parameters affecting mill stability, and investigates the changes in parameters and tribological characteristics during unstable rolling processes. The conclusion is that the rapid changes in lubrication state and friction stress lead to intensified vibration.

Summary: This paper proposes a new semi-supervised classification scheme to effectively address the classification problems of coupling faults, and validates its effectiveness through a case study. The research results show that the classification results of this scheme are more successful than traditional methods in two different scenarios.
