Excellent photocatalytic performances of Co3O4-AC nanocomposites for H2 production via wastewater splitting

Summary: The analysis of foodborne antioxidants is crucial for public health, and this study developed a sonochemical method to obtain a hybrid copper-phthalocyanine conjugated graphitic carbon nitride nanocomposite. The nanocomposite showed excellent electrocatalytic activity and a wide linear concentration range, enabling sensitive electrochemical detection of antioxidants. The fabricated sensor was successfully applied to determine antioxidants in various food and beverage samples.

CO tolerance and durability study of PtMe (Me = Ir or Pd) electrocatalysts for H2-PEMFC application

Summary: In this study, carbon supported PtMe (Me = Ir or Pd) electrocatalysts with different atomic ratios were investigated for their CO tolerance and durability. It was found that Pd/C showed higher CO tolerance than Pt/C, while PtPd3/C exhibited the highest CO tolerance ability. Pt3Ir/C showed higher CO tolerance ability than Pt/C but could not resist at such high CO concentrations for more than 6 hours.
