Understanding the High-Performance Anode Material of CoC2O4.2 H2O Microrods Wrapped by Reduced Graphene Oxide for Lithium-Ion and Sodium-Ion Batteries

Yingying Zhang et al.

Summary: Metal oxalate is a promising candidate for anode materials in lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, but capacity decrease due to volume expansion remains an issue. By fabricating a rod-like CoC2O4.2 H2O/rGO hybrid, the electrochemical properties of the material have been improved, leading to enhanced cycling stability.

High efficient rGO-modified Ni foam supported Pd nanoparticles(PRNF) composite synthesized using spontaneous reduction for hydrogen peroxide electroreduction and electrooxidation

Limei Sun et al.

Summary: A novel approach of two-step spontaneous reduction was developed to fabricate the 3D rGO-modified Ni foam supported Pd nanoparticles (PRNF) composite for efficient H2O2 electroreduction and electrooxidation. The PRNF electrode exhibited excellent catalytic activity and stability in NaOH or H2SO4 solutions, delivering high power density and long term cycle stability in Al-H2O2 semi-fuel cell and H2O2-H2O2 fuel cell configurations. This study introduces a facile and low-cost electrode preparation method with potential for high-performance energy storage/conversion devices.
