Summary: The biogenic synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles showed significant antibacterial and anti-biofilm activity against various bacterial strains. The nanoparticles caused changes in bacterial cell membrane permeability, leading to leakage of nucleic acid, which likely contributed to their anti-biofilm potential.
