A ZnFe2O4/C3N4 composite with the assistance of multifunctional Au-nanoparticle to generate hydrogen under visible-light

Jia Yang et al.

Summary: In this study, a three-component composite 2Au@1%-ZFO/CN was designed and demonstrated to be an efficient photocatalyst for H2 evolution in triethanolamine aqueous solution under visible-light. The composite was composed of ZnFe2O4 and C3N4 as the main components, with Au nanoparticles acting as active sites and electronic channels. The optimized sample exhibited significantly enhanced H2 evolution rates compared to the unloaded sample, with a visible-light photocatalytic performance.

Photo-Fenton Process over an Fe-Free 3%-CuO/Sr0.76Ce0.16WO4 Photocatalyst under Simulated Sunlight

Mingyan Fu et al.

Summary: A Fe-free 3%-CuO/Sr0.76Ce0.16WO4 photocatalyst was synthesized for use in simulated wastewater degradation via a photo-Fenton process, showing high photodegradation efficiency and catalytic activity. Photogenerated electrons and holes transfer to CuO to form hydroxyl radicals, which has reference significance for designing iron-free photocatalysts.
