Green synthesis and characterization of Nd2Ti2O7 ceramic nanocomposites for the elimination of organic dyes in water

This paper presents the fabrication of Nd2Ti2O7 ceramic nanostructures with ferula assa foetida gum as a new and efficient green fuel. The properties of Nd2Ti2O7 were evaluated using various techniques, and the results showed successful production of nanostructured Nd2Ti2O7 in the presence of ferula assa foetida gum. Nd2Ti2O7 nanostructures were then used for treating wastewater and their photocatalytic activity was examined under different pH and contaminant concentration conditions.
One of the most important issues in the 21st century is the demand for green energy. In the current paper, the fabrication of Nd2Ti2O7 ceramic nanostructures with ferula assa foetida gum is presented as a new and efficient fuel. Specimens made with the gum of ferula assa foetida have been explored by various techniques. The properties of Nd2Ti2O7 were assessed by SEM, XRD, FT-IR, and TEM analysis. Our results indicated the favorable generation of the pure nanostructured Nd2Ti2O7 in the attendance of ferula assa foetida gum. Then, Nd2Ti2O7 nanostructures were deployed to treat wastewater containing Acid Blue 92, Methyl orange, Acid Brown 214, and Acid Black 1. Moreover, the impact of pH and containment concentration on the photocatalytic activity of Nd2Ti2O7 nanostructure was investigated.
