Efficient Pure Blue Light-Emitting Diodes Based on CsPbBr3 Quantum-Confined Nanoplates

Wei Shen et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates the improvement of stability and efficiency in high-performance blue perovskite LEDs through four-aminobenzenesulfonic acid (SA) compensation and suitable MABr treatment. The coverage and thickness of the NPL layer were improved using an alternate droplet/spin coating method to prevent hole transport layer emission and increase the reproducibility of LED performance and spectra. Moreover, hole transport layers were designed to improve energy-level alignment.

Light-emitting field-effect transistors with EQE over 20% enabled by a dielectric-quantum dots-dielectric sandwich structure

Lingmei Kong et al.

Summary: This study reports highly efficient QLEFETs with an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of over 20% by employing a dielectric-QDs-dielectric (DQD) sandwich structure. The DQD structure controls carrier behavior and shifts the exciton recombination zone into the emissive layer, resulting in enhanced radiative recombination and preventing exciton loss and luminescence quenching.

Aging of Self-Assembled Lead Halide Perovskite Nanocrystal Superlattices: Effects on Photoluminescence and Energy Transfer

Dmitry Baranov et al.

Summary: Excitonic coupling, electronic coupling, and cooperative interactions in self-assembled lead halide perovskite nanocrystals can lead to a red-shifted collective emission peak with accelerated dynamics. Reactivity of nanocrystals within self-assembled superlattices can also result in similar spectroscopic features, such as a narrowing of emission peaks. Aging of CsPbBr3 nanocrystal assemblies alters their emission properties, with a gradual contraction of superlattices and the development of bulk-like particles on top of the superlattices.
