Summary: The assimilation of global navigation satellite system data has a positive impact on weather forecasts, and utilizing more advanced parameters from multiple satellite systems can further improve forecast accuracy. Combining several GNSS systems in the operational data assimilation improves the geometry of the forecast model, especially for low elevation and azimuth angles.
