Facilitating Staff Adoption of New Policies and Procedures in Aged Care Through Training for Readiness for Change

Kathryn M. von Treuer et al.

Summary: This study examined whether training staff in preparation for organizational changes can increase levels of change readiness in residential aged care. The findings showed significant differences between the training and control groups in appropriateness, personal valence, and efficacy after the intervention. Unexpectedly, the support for the training group diminished at 6 months and 12 months following the intervention.
