Highly sensitive and selective 2-nitroaniline chemical sensor based on Ce-doped SnO2 nanosheets/Nafion-modified glassy carbon electrode

Summary: In this study, pure SnO2 and Ce-doped SnO2 nanosheets were successfully synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method, and characterized using various techniques. Electrochemical tests showed that the 3% Ce-doped SnO2 nanosheets exhibited high sensitivity and a wide linear range for detecting 2-nitroaniline, with good selectivity. This newly developed sensor electrode demonstrated excellent performance in the detection of 2-nitroaniline in the presence of common interfering species.
