Congyu Wang et al.

Summary: Integrated energy supply through CHP systems is an effective method for regional carbon reduction. This study analyzes the impact of integrated energy supply on CHP systems using a case study of a system with both civil and industrial heat users. The results show that the industrial heat load is more profitable and can improve energy efficiency of the CHP unit. Additionally, CO2 emissions per unit profit are reduced by approximately 7.69% after stabilizing the industrial heat load.
