Levers for alleviating poverty in forests

Reem Hajjar et al.

Summary: The study found limited evidence of forest management policies, programmes, technologies, and strategies being associated with reducing poverty, but more evidence suggesting they are linked to mitigating poverty and improving well-being. Successful outcomes in poverty alleviation were seen in ecotourism, community forest management, and agroforestry.
