Impulsivity in Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder and Pedophilic Disorder

Josephine Savard et al.

Summary: This study aimed to explore impulsivity in disorders of problematic sexuality and the correlation between sexual compulsivity and impulsivity. The results showed that self-rated attentional impulsivity is an important associated factor of compulsive sexuality, even after controlling for ADHD. Further investigation on neurodevelopmental disorders and attentional impulsivity in these disorders is warranted.
