Carbonation characteristics of cement-based materials under the uniform distribution of pore water

Yang Yahui et al.

Summary: The study found that moisture transmission significantly affects the depth and degree of carbonation, and a new pre-treatment method helps achieve uniform distribution of specimens. The carbonation characteristics of cement-based materials in pore water under different ambient relative humidity were studied, and the accelerated carbonation test using uniformly distributed pore water was found to be more consistent with the natural carbonation law.
