Model-driven engineering to ensure automotive embedded software safety. Methodological proposal and case study

Summary: This paper introduces an approach for preliminary design of complex physical systems in the field of systems engineering, focusing on activities and participants in pre-design tasks, modeling design problems with DEPS and solving them using Constraint Programming. This method, different from simulation-based approaches, enables the synthesis of pre-design architectures.
