Analysing self-regulated learning strategies of MOOC learners through self-reported data

M. Elena Alonso-Mencia et al.

Summary: This research study aimed to explore the relationship between self-regulated learning (SRL) and background information of MOOC learners. Significant differences in general learning strategies and motivation were found based on continent, prior computing experience, and percentage of completed MOOCs. Men reported higher motivation than women, while pre-university learners needed further guidance to improve their learning strategies.
