Double-shell hollow glass microspheres@Co2SiO4 for lightweight and efficient electromagnetic wave absorption

Di Lan et al.

Summary: The study successfully synthesized novel double-shell hollow glass microspheres coated with cobalt silicate, which play an important role in electromagnetic wave absorption. The composite material exhibited high reflection loss and a wide effective absorption bandwidth, showing excellent electromagnetic wave absorption performance. The new type of double-shell HGMs@Co2SiO4 is expected to be an excellent candidate for a new generation of stable, lightweight, and efficient electromagnetic wave absorbing material.
