Antibacterial wound dressing electrospun nanofibrous material from polyvinyl alcohol, honey and Curcumin longa extract

Summary: A novel multicomponent nanofibrous mat containing polyvinyl alcohol, honey and Curcumin longa extract was successfully prepared, showing better moisture management properties and antibacterial activity. Characterization by scanning electron microscope, bacterial assay, moisture management tester, and FTIR revealed the presence of desired components and promising properties of the fabricated nanofibrous mats.
