Pd supported on clicked cellulose-modified magnetite-graphene oxide nanocomposite for C-C coupling reactions in deep eutectic solvent

Summary: A cellulose-modified magnetite-graphene oxide nanocomposite was prepared for immobilization of palladium nanoparticles without additional reducing agent. The nanocomposite showed high stability and uniform dispersion of Pd nanoparticles, with magnetite-graphene oxide providing high specific surface area and easy magnetic separation. The composite served as a sustainable and environmentally benign heterogeneous catalyst for Heck and Sonogashira coupling reactions in various deep eutectic solvents, with the best results observed in a hydrophilic deep eutectic solvent composed of dimethyl ammonium chloride and glycerol.

Choline chloride-coated UiO-66-Urea MOF: A novel multifunctional heterogeneous catalyst for efficient one-pot three-component synthesis of 2-amino-4H-chromenes

Summary: A new Zr-based MOF, UiO-66-Urea, was synthesized through polymerization and post-synthetic coating with choline chloride to form ChCl@UiO-66-Urea, which exhibited superior catalytic activity in the synthesis of biologically active compounds under solvent-free conditions. The interaction between UiO-66-Urea and ChCl led to a synergistic effect, enhancing the overall catalytic performance of the solid material.
