A Metallofullertube of Ce2@C100 with a Carbon Nanotube Segment: Synthesis, Single-Molecule Conductance and Supramolecular Assembly

Wang Li et al.

Summary: This study reports the synthesis and characterization of a tubular metallofullertube Ce-2@D-5(450)-C-100. Experimental and theoretical methods were used to compare the structure-property relationship between Ce-2@D-5(450)-C-100 and Ce-2@I-h-C-80. The results demonstrate the high conductivity of Ce-2@D-5(450)-C-100 and its ability to form supramolecular assemblies with nanohoops.

A supramolecular polymeric heterojunction composed of an all-carbon conjugated polymer and fullerenes

Shengda Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel all-carbon supramolecular polymer host (SPh) was designed and synthesized, leading to the successful construction of a supramolecular polymeric heterojunction (SPhIC60) with potential applications in electron transport devices. Various characterization techniques confirmed the structure and properties of SPh, while also revealing the electron transfer process between SPh and C-60.
