Summary: Water contamination from toxic pollutants like dyes, heavy metals, and surfactants has become a global challenge, leading to increasing efforts to develop effective wastewater treatment techniques. Various methods such as chemical oxidation, physical adsorption, and biological treatments have been recognized. Among these, adsorption is considered a simple, sustainable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly technique for wastewater treatment, but further research and development are needed for practical implementation in a wide range of applications.
