Magnetic CoNi alloy particles embedded N-doped carbon fibers with polypyrrole for excellent electromagnetic wave absorption

Mingliang Ma et al.

Summary: In this study, N-doped carbon fibers embedded with CoNi alloy particles were synthesized, and conductive polypyrrole-coated CoNi/C fibers were prepared. The resulting composites showed outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption properties, attributed to the synergistic effect between CoNi, N-doped carbon fibers, and PPy. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of embedding magnetic alloy particles in carbon fibers coated with conductive polymers for constructing lightweight and efficient electromagnetic wave absorption materials.
