Socioeconomic inequalities in lung cancer - a time trend analysis with German health insurance data

Fabian Tetzlaff et al.

Summary: In Germany, the incidence rates of lung cancer have declined in men but increased in women. Income inequalities were most pronounced among men, with the decline in incidence most pronounced in middle- and higher-income men. Educational gradients among the working-age population decreased over time due to increasing incidence among individuals with higher education. Declining gradients were also found for occupational position.
