Transcriptional response of Thialkalivibrio versutus D301 to different sulfur sources and identification of the sulfur oxidation pathways

Zhi-Xia Liu et al.

Summary: The genus Thialkalivibrio is important in biological desulfurization systems. Transcriptomic analysis revealed differences in growth rate and sulfur oxidation activity in T. versutus D301 under different sulfur sources. Chemical sulfur led to downregulation of genes related to carbon metabolism and upregulation of flagellum-related genes.
