Sol-gel derived cobalt containing Ni-Zn ferrite nanoparticles: Dielectric relaxation and enhanced magnetic property study

S. Chakrabarty et al.

Summary: The systematic study of transition metal ion doped nickel-zinc ferrite nanoparticles with their magnetic properties and conductivity relaxation mechanism was the objective of this research. Cobalt doped NZF nanoparticles were prepared via a facile chemical route. The study found nearly spherical nanoparticles around 60 nm in size with a redshift in the optical band gap, and the electrical modulus spectra exhibited Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts (KWW) type behavior.

Steering of Magnetic Interactions in Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2-x(Mn)xO4 Nanoferrites via Substitution-Induced Cationic Redistribution

Gopal Datt et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates that dopant-driven cationic redistribution efficiently influences the static and dynamic magnetic properties of Mn-substituted Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2-x(Mn)(x)O-4 NFs. The increase in Mn substitution leads to a shift in cation distribution, resulting in a remarkable decrease in magnetocrystalline anisotropy and changes in magnetic coupling and FMR relaxation frequency. Furthermore, the analysis reveals the presence of dipolar interaction and surface spin interaction in these NFs, impacting their superparamagnetic properties and making them suitable for various technological applications.

Characterization of CdO nanoparticles prepared by co-precipitation method under different pH and calcination temperatures

S. Abbas et al.

Summary: Different preparation conditions, including temperature and pH, had a significant impact on the physical properties of CdO nanoparticles. Increasing temperature enhanced the crystallinity and particle size, while pH variation led to incomplete reduction of CdO. Optical properties were found to be dependent on particle size and temperature, whereas magnetic properties showed a combination of diamagnetic and ferromagnetic contributions for all samples.
