Efficient Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction by loading trace Pd nanoparticles onto copper-complex-derived Cu/C-700 solid support

Summary: The development of efficient carbon-carbon cross-coupling catalysts with low noble metal amounts has gained significant attention. In this study, a Cu/C-700/Pd nanocomposite was synthesized by loading trace Pd2+ onto a carbon support derived from a novel mononuclear copper complex. The as-prepared nanomaterial exhibited highly dispersed copper phosphide nanoparticles and Pd nanoparticles via neighboring Cu-Pd sites, showing excellent catalytic activity and selectivity in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction.

Synthesis and characterization of palladium nanoparticles immobilized on graphene oxide functionalized with triethylenetetramine or 2,6-diaminopyridine and application for the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction

Summary: Graphene oxide was functionalized with organic ligands TETA or DAP, followed by palladium nanoparticles to synthesize Pd NPs/GO-TETA and Pd NPs/GO-DAP nanocomposites. The Pd NPs/GO-TETA nanocomposite showed higher efficiency in Suzuki coupling reactions compared to Pd NPs/GO-DAP, with high yields and short reaction times. The Pd NPs/GO-TETA nanocomposite also demonstrated good stability and recyclability for multiple runs in organic transformations.

Magnetic silica surface functionalized palladium catalyst: A modular approach for C-C cross-coupling reactions in water

Multifunctional catalysts based on palladium nanoparticles supported on functionalized halloysites: Applications in catalytic C-C coupling, selective oxidation and dehalogenation reactions

Summary: A series of hybrid Sup-L-Pd catalysts with different nano-sized supports, ligands and quantities of Pd were prepared and studied for their catalytic activity in C-C coupling, selective oxidations, and dehalogenation-hydrogenation processes. Among them, the HNTs-PPETS-Pd0.25 catalyst showed the most promising catalytic behavior and potential reusability in various catalytic processes. It demonstrated high turnover frequency values in catalytic reactions and good recyclability with low Pd leaching after consecutive cycles.

Synthesis of new Pd(NHC)-PEPPSI type complexes as catalysts toward C-C cross-coupling reactions

Summary: The research aims to synthesize homogeneous catalysts by starting from novel precursors to form N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands, and subsequently synthesizing Pd(NHC)-PEPPSI type complexes. The structure of all synthesized ligands and complexes was confirmed using various spectroscopic techniques, with some compounds confirmed by X-ray. These complexes were found to be significantly active as catalysts in the C-C cross-coupling reaction.

Summary: An environmentally friendly solid catalyst was synthesized by palladium (II) anchored to the silica MCM41 after synthetic modification with DL-pyroglutamic acid (PCA). The catalyst displayed excellent catalytic performance in the Suzuki coupling reaction under mild conditions and could be reused eight times without loss of activity. The immobilized complex showed practical advantages over homogeneous catalysis.

The catalyst can selectively reduce compounds with multiple aldehydic groups, and the crystallite size of zeolite-Y plays a crucial role in achieving high selectivity in catalytic oxidation and reduction.

Summary: The study presents a series of nanocatalysts derived from immobilization of palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs) into the 3D tube-type architecture of nitrogen (N) functionalized and without functionalized mesoporous carbon CMK-9 by a dual agents chemical reduction approach. The Pd@N-CMK-9 catalysts exhibit excellent catalytic activities in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction, reduction of 4-nitrophenol, and hydrodechlorination of chlorobenzene, showing 100% conversion rates and high turnover frequencies. The outstanding catalytic performance is attributed to the synergistic effect of uniformly dispersed Pd NPs, favorable metal-support interaction, and tubular interconnected mesoporous framework of N-functionalized CMK-9.

[Pd(4-R3Si-IPr)(allyl)Cl]/K2CO3/EtOH: A highly effective catalytic system for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction
