Summary: A novel method combining hypercube-based fuzzy simulation with adaptive Kriging is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of failure credibility estimation. The method develops a HBFS for constructing the candidate sampling pool and efficiently searches for the active point using an adaptive hypercube shrinkage strategy. The process for finding the active point is realized by the Ulearning function based AK model, demonstrating the merits of the proposed AK-HBFS in four test cases.
